Concrete structures are enforced by reinforcement rods (“rebar”) or structural steel. If the concrete skin of the building has been damaged or deteriorated the steel substructure must be restored or replaced. If the structure was constructed with a small amount of steel in the building an anchoring system must be used to stabilize the building before repairs can be made.
