Calhoun College is a residential College at Yale University. G.L. Capasso Inc. was hired to remove portions of the exterior stone veneer to expose the failed flashings, replace the anchorage and rebuild the masonry backup. This building has been plagued with water infiltration problems for the last several years. Once the flashings and backup leaks were repaired, G.L. Capasso Inc. re-installed the exterior stone to its original construction. Our firm self performed all aspects of the façade restoration, such as setting scaffolding, roofing balconies, removing stone, re-setting stone, cutting and pointing, epoxy injection, painting, carpentry, cleaning and caulking.
