G.L. Capasso Inc. was contracted to restore the world renowned Crawford Manor designed by Paul Rudolph in 1962.  Over 200,000 square feet of mortar joints were re-pointed.  Due to the irregular size of the joints, seven inch grinders and ten inch saws were used to remove the old mortar.  Custom made fluted block were made to replicate the original blocks. All roofs were removed and replaced with new Firestone EPDM.  Coordination with multiple subcontractors and a commitment to the residents were a critical aspect in completing this successful project.
