Built in 1899, the Indian Harbor Mansion was designed by Carrere and Hastings, the architect of the New York Public Library.  Indian Harbor Mansion is on the National Register of Historic Places.  G.L. Capasso Inc. was contracted to restore the stucco façade of this mansion.  The work included removing all deteriorated stucco back to the brick and terracotta substrate.  A traditional three-coat stucco application was then applied.  The work on this mansion also included the rebuilding of five massive stucco chimneys.

G.L. Capasso Inc. also meticulously remove and replaced all deteriorated Spanish roof tiles.  Custom Spanish Tiles were made to replicate the existing roof tiles.  New sheet metal flashings were installed.  Work performed on this mansion also included terra cotta replacement and restoration.  Moreover, over 18,000 square feet of new stone sea walls were built to protect the property from erosion.  The Indian Harbor Mansion project was a four year project completed to the satisfaction of the owner and consultant.
